Diary; 27th December, 1914.

Sunday 27th December: Gorre

It is raining as hard as ever and the roads are again knee deep in mud. We were out and brought in a few wounded but it is very quiet, very few shells came over. I expect it will be a hard job for the Germans to get munitions up owing to the state of the roads. Our artillery have to carry theirs a long distance.
