Diaries; 17th – 20th April, 1915.

Saturday 17th April: Richebourg

On duty at Richebourg- L’Avoue using La Coutre as a base to clear all sick and wounded to Bethune. Everything quiet, weather splendid.

Sunday 18th April: La Coutre

Things are still very quiet except for a few aeroplanes flying over our head. The weather is splendid with glorious sunshine. We had only a few wounded today.

Monday 19th April: La Coutre

We are still at La Coutre, had a turn out in the middle of the night for two wounded, otherwise things quiet.

Tuesday 20th April: La Coutre

Things are still very quiet here, only our airmen playing with the Germans who are continually wasting shells on them but never hit them.
